When a claim occurs, it can be a stressful situation for a policy holder.

At Insurance House, we work hard to make the insurance experience better by personally handling all Southern General claims (auto & property). In an effort to be as responsive as possible to the needs of the insurance buyer, our claims department is divided into units to provide fast and fair adjustments – simplifying the process in order to ease the stress.

Claims can be reported 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A representative with a claim number will contact the insured within 24 hours.

For us to provide the most efficient service to insureds, it is important to know what information is needed at the time a claim is reported:

Auto
• Policy number, date, approximate time, and location of the accident.
• Any information about other parties involved (names, addresses, license numbers, injuries, phone numbers, etc.).
Property
• In general, provide as much information as possible about the nature of the damage.
• If the initial damage to the residence is the result of a covered loss, any temporary repairs made to prevent additional damage from occurring will be reimbursed.
